vFNCA 2020 Daily Schedule
#vFNCA2020

NOTE: If this is your first time visiting this page, please read all the RED paragraphs at the top first.

contents and direct links to each day's schedules

Sing-Along, Chapel, Lectures, and a few other events will be on Facebook Live and on the FNCA YouTube channel, running simultaneous in both places. You can watch them and post comments in either place. The presenters, however, will only be monitoring the event on Facebook Live and will be responding to questions and comments there during the event.

Please note that you don't have to be on Facebook to participate there. Just click the link under the event in the schedule below. If you do have a Facebook page, you will be able to post comments and question for the presenters. Everyone will be able to see these comments and questions responses from the presenter. You will be able to watch these events later on both our Facebook page and on our YouTube channel.

Almost all other events will be on our Standard Zoom Link which will be emailed to everyone on our mailing list the week before vFNCA. If you are not on our mailing list and would like to participate, please contact: <moderator@fryeburg.org>.

* = This event will be cast from our Standard Zoom Link to Facebook Live and our FNCA YouTube channel, so you can participate on Zoom and watch it again later.

The Afternoon Book Club meets Mon/Wed/Fri. The book selection is The Holy Center: A Biblical Path to the Presence Within by Rev. Dorothea Harvey. It is available to read free online at the link above. Or you can contact our Religious Program Coordinator Rev. Susannah Currie ahead of time and she will send you a free physical copy.

Afternoon Arts & Crafts (Tue/Thu/Sat) and a few of the Evening Activities will require you to get some things ahead of time. There is a Supplies List at each such event below.

Sparks Games and Flames Games will be on Jitsi, with the link available through the Moderator of the Day (M.o.D.). It will be the same link throughout the entire week, so you will only need to get it ahead of time once from the M.o.D. in order to participate all week long.

The Virtual Dole 3 Miler is already ongoing! Runners run the race at their own place and time and submit their results. Results are due by noon on Saturday, August 8, 2020.

Photos and descriptions of all items, as well as bidding instructions are all at the link above. We would welcome more things for this important fundraiser, so if you would like to donate quality items or gift cards, please contact Auctioneer Jason Greenwood.

The Annual Meeting will be held online on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 1:00pm. We will be electing 3 Board members, the Camp Director, and 1 member of the Nominating Committee, as well as conducting other official camp business. Although Annual Meeting is open to people who love the FNCA, only members in good standing are allowed to vote. In order to become a member, you must apply to the Secretary, fill out an application form, and be approved by the Board of Directors. In order to be a member in good standing, you must also pay your dues. Details about all this are at the link above.
