Past Lecture Themes

Before the mid-1970s there was a single theme for the entire session. In 1976 or 1977, it was decided to have a separate theme for each week: one a book of the Bible, one a doctrinal theme or a book of Swedenborg's, and the third a "wild card". In 1982, when the camp session was shortened to two weeks again, there was a single theme again for the entire session. The following year, however, it was decided to go back to having a different theme each week. Shortly after that, it was decided that the theme should be Biblical one week and doctrinal the other week. And we've been (mostly) doing it that way ever since.
